All proceeds will go towards The Motuse Solar Powered Water Project, our latest project where we’ll be constructing a solar powered water system in the community of Motuse, Nicaragua that will bring clean water to all 623 residents, the local school, and local churches.

DONATIONS NEEDED - due March 4th

What types of donations are we looking for?   Here are some ideas:

  • Gift certificates to local bay area shops, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, family photo package, or other businesses/services that are currently open. 

  • Art  (prints, originals, photography, ceramic, or any other medium)

  • Locally crafted goods

  • Tickets to sporting events, museums, zoos, aquariums, exhibits, theme park, and other family-friendly events (or memberships, if available)

  • Themed baskets with items (eg., drink night/mixology, picnic day, beach day, sweet treats, spa/pampering, wine & cheese, BBQ,  movie night, coffee lover, gardening, etc.).  

  • Sports memorabilia and sporting goods/gear for kids or adults

  • Have an interesting job? Donate a day of someone shadowing you.  

  • Subscriptions to online camps, classes, or boxed delivery services for kids or adults (eg., cooking, painting, coding, sewing, Kiwi Co tinker toys, Stitch Fix clothing, Farm Fresh grocery, etc.)

  • WINE, BEER, and LIQUOR for our Boozy Boxes 

  • Home goods (KitchenAid mixers, espresso machine, knife set, etc.).

* Items should be NEW, UNOPENED and UNUSED only, please.  We can’t accept used, opened, or unsealed donations. Thanks!

** If you’re able to donate an item to our Online Auction, please let us know as soon as possible, and before the end of February, by clicking below.  We will happily coordinate a safe, contactless pick-up of your donations by March 4, 2022.  Thank you!

***Note that for non-cash donations, donors can take a tax deduction for the fair market value of the donation of goods. However, donors cannot deduct for any time or services contributed to a 501(c)(3) organization. The donor can only deduct the cost of any out-of-pocket expenses for which the donor has receipts. All cash donations are tax deductible.
